Community service is an essential component in the foundation of our firm. The partners have a strong commitment to allocating firm resources, professional knowledge and financial support to various community organizations. Currently, Suarez-Kuehne Architecture is working on a schematic design for the non-profit Trinity Preschool and Kindergarten in San Rafael.

Scott is the vice chair of the board of directors for the Family Service Agency of San Francisco. He is also an active member of the Kentfield Schools Foundation Board of Directors. Scott also served on the board of directors of Rebuilding Together San Francisco for nine years. In addition to serving Treasurer and Vice President, Scott chaired the Board of Directors for two years. He continues to stay involved as a volunteer and is serving on the Construction Advisory Committee for the organization.

John, through Rebuilding Together San Francisco, has organized and led teams of volunteers ranging in size from 40 to over 300 for the renovation of various non-profit facilities in San Francisco.

For the architects and staff at Suarez-Kuehne Architecture, the partners foster an environment which gives employees the flexibility in their schedules to engage in community service activities.
